    Opening Your X-Ray Images

    Access your X-Ray lab reports.

    Learn how to navigate our safe and secure platforms to easily access and interpret your recent X-Ray lab reports.

    Genesis Software
    If Auto Play is enabled, dialog opens automatically:
    • Run Omnivue.exe
    • Click to start Simple Viewer
    • Double click on patient’s name
    • Use the arrows at the top right to go between multiple images

    If Auto Play is disabled:
    • Go to My Computer and select CD/DVD drive, the disc is titled Genesis
    • Scroll down and run (double click) the application "OmniSV"
    • Double click on patient’s name
    • Use the arrows at the top right to go between multiple images
    Image Suite Software
    If Auto Play is enabled, dialog opens automatically:
    • Run StartPatientCD
    If Auto Play is disabled:
    • Go to My Computer
    • Double Click DVD RW Drive

    Bensonhurst Patients Only
    If Auto Play is enabled, dialog opens automatically:
    • Click open to view files
    • Click on PD Viewer
    • Click on PD View
    If Auto Play is disabled:
    • Click open to view files
    • Click on PD Viewer
    • Click on PD View
    If you are unable to open the viewer manually:

    Import into your own Viewer following your software’s instructions. The images are saved in DICOM format on the CD.

    You can install a free MAC DICOM image viewer: http://www.escape.gr/dicom/emvmac.html or http://www.osirix-viewer.com/

    What is a DICOM file?

    DICOM is a standard image file saved in the Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine format for medical images.
