Dr. Vanessa Bellamy is a Supervising Psychologist who provides behavioral health services to children, adolescents, young adults, and families, while also supporting the growth and development of clinicians within the practice. She brings a thoughtful, leadership-driven perspective to her work, combining clinical expertise with a deep commitment to high-quality, compassionate care.
Dr. Bellamy specializes in ADHD, trauma, identity development, and life transitions, integrating evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches to support resilience and long-term well-being. She is passionate about creating strengths-based, culturally responsive spaces where individuals and families feel understood, empowered, and supported throughout the therapeutic process.
She earned her PhD from the Combined Counseling Psychology and School Psychology program at Florida State University, her MA in Developmental Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University, and her BA in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania. She completed her doctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania Counseling and Psychological Services and previously served as a Staff Psychologist and Outreach Coordinator at Barnard College’s Furman Counseling Center.
