DBT Skills Group for Teens and Young Adults

Enrollment is open for our next group – best suited for ages 18-23

Our DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) Skills Group teaches practical skills to help teens better handle difficult situations and emotions, manage triggers and stress more effectively, and establish interpersonal skills needed to develop engaging, positive relationships.

Led by certified DBT for Adolescents provider and child psychologist, Dr. Jennifer Weber, and supported by experienced pediatric therapist Jessica Williams, LMSW, this evidence-based multi-week virtual program is suited for teens and young adults with behavior and/or mood disorders.

What to expect

Frequency & Timing

Virtual 1-hour group sessions will take place on a weekly basis.

Expectations

Sessions will include a mindfulness activity, practical skills training and practice, and review of skills practiced during the week.

Commitment

Attendance is crucial – clients must attend all sessions.

Fees

  • -Self-pay (prompt pay) rate: $100 per session.
  • -We accept Aetna, Cigna, Fidelis Care, Healthfirst, and Point Comfort behavioral health insurance in New York.
  • -We encourage you to check with your insurance provider regarding your coverage for group therapy.
