Visits are scheduled by the school health team as needed. You may request that your child be seen by contacting your school.
Parents/guardians can be added to a physical health visit virtually (phone or video) upon request.
After a physical health visit, discharge summaries will be sent to parents/guardians via secure email or text. It is important a child’s medical home is aware of all care therefore we will send a copy of the visit summary to your child’s medical home on record.
Many common pediatric illnesses can be treated effectively with telemedicine. These include:
Our virtual visits are fully HIPAA compliant and secure. You can be assured that your child’s conversations with the clinician and records are secure and private.
All prescriptions will be e-prescribed to the pharmacy of your choice.
The PM School Health specialist can create a work or school excuse note, which can be easily be received via secure email or text.
In some instances, the clinician may discover a more serious condition that requires your child to be seen in person for a more thorough examination or testing that is not available at school. In these cases, our clinician will work with your school’s designated personnel to facilitate the appropriate referral.
