Meet Our Team at the Baldwin Schools Wellness Center

Sara Berman, LCSW, brings over 20 years of experience in the mental health field, with a deep commitment to supporting children, families, and the clinicians who care for them. With a background in child welfare, outpatient mental health, and biopsychosocial assessment, Sara’s approach is grounded in both compassion and clinical expertise.

Throughout her career, Sara has provided direct care to children and families, led multidisciplinary teams, and offered clinical supervision to fellow providers. She is passionate about helping clinicians grow in their work, supporting them to think critically, use evidence-based practices, and provide high-quality, individualized care.

Sara’s warmth, insight, and leadership help ensure that every family receives support rooted in best practices and delivered with heart. She holds a BSW from Molloy College, an MSW from Fordham University, and completed her SIFI certification through Adelphi University.

Jessica believes that therapy isn’t a straight path, it curves and shifts with every life moment. With warmth and compassion, she supports children, teens, and adults as they navigate challenges, build emotional awareness, and reconnect with their strengths along the way.

Drawing on more than 15 years of experience across individual therapy, community programming, and policy development, Jessica brings both depth and balance to her work. She uses a range of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Culturally Sensitive Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, to meet each person where they are in their journey.

A Certified Yoga and Mindfulness Teacher and Registered Child Yoga Teacher, Jessica also integrates mind–body practices into her work to help clients develop tools they can use in everyday life. Whether supporting a child learning to manage big emotions or an adult navigating stress, Jessica’s goal is to help each person find space to breathe, grow, and feel grounded, one breath at a time.

Caitlin joined our team in Fall 2025 as the Clinical Health Scheduler, bringing experience from fast-paced corporate, restaurant, and retail environments. Known for her organization, efficiency, and positive attitude, Caitlin excels at multitasking, problem-solving, and keeping everything on track. She approaches each day with care and dedication, making sure our team can focus on what matters most, supporting students and families.
