RESCUE (Resuscitation and Stabilization of Children in the Urgent Care Environment) is a novel pediatric emergency preparedness course (epc) intended for any provider or nurse who may encounter a critically ill child in the outpatient setting.
RESCUEepc distinguishes itself from other resuscitation courses in its relevance and applicability to resource-limited practice environments, in which personnel, medication, and equipment may be vastly different from that of a hospital.
Successful completion of this course will earn the learner 8 hours of CME or CNE credit. Additionally, for physician providers, RESCUEepc certification will also earn a total of 8 MOC Part 2 credits through the ABP.
RESCUEepc certification is currently a requirement for all PM Pediatric Care providers and nurses. For additional information, including expected availability of the course to your organization/institution please contact RESCUE@pmpediatrics.com.
