Get to know the important roles on our team below, and learn how each can support you and your family.
Your Behavioral Health Care Manager will be your first point of contact and will conduct a comprehensive intake to understand how our team can best support your child. They may also provide referrals to other resources or services and can provide support with insurance reimbursement. The care manager is an integral member of our comprehensive care team, helping families to navigate through the care journey with ease and comfort.
A child psychologist is a doctoral-level, licensed mental health professional (PsyD/PhD) who has received advanced training in how behavioral health issues develop and are treated in children, adolescents, and young adults. Child psychologists conduct assessments, make diagnoses, and provide therapy. They are not medical doctors and do not prescribe medication.
A child therapist is a general term for any mental health professional who has completed training in child therapy and is licensed or certified to provide that service. Child therapists may be Social Workers, Psychologists, or Counselors. They provide psychotherapy or other therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and young adults as well as collaborate with their families.
