Rebekah Christyne Severe is a Licensed Master Social Worker for PM Pediatric Care School Health. Previously, she developed programs for Counseling in Schools, Inc. that promoted the emotional and social growth of children to thrive in school and succeed in life.
She uses her expertise in education and policy to the betterment of underserved communities and families, including seeking out resources for counseling, mentorship, academic advancement, job placement, college readiness, community development, and engagement.
Rebekah is the co-founder of three nonprofit organizations, S.O.A.R (Severe Opportunities and Access to Resources), B.E.S.T. Brooklyn (Bringing Essential Services to Brooklyn), and DUOPartnership. She received a BS in Education and Public Policy from Penn State University, and Masters of Social Work from NYU.
